Insight without regulation
Clients have that story I work with what’s underneath it

Djenane Douglas, MSW, RSW Registered Social Worker & Co-Parenting Coach ● 20+ years in mental health & family systems ● GTA, Ontario, ● English and French

The unspoken reality

You're not just mediating. You're managing the emotional temperature of two people who can barely be in the same room.

The agreements you build are solid. The moment they leave your office , one bad text, one difficult handoff , the old cycle starts again.

That’s not a plan problem. That’s a regulation problem. That’s the gap I work in.
You know this parent

The one who undoes it in the parking lot
The session goes well. Two days later it fell apart at the handoff not because the plan was wrong, but because one parent hit a trigger and the old pattern took over.

The one who derails the room.
They arrive already flooded. Now you’re not mediating. You’re managing. The actual work doesn’t happen.
The one who keeps coming back.
They want to do better and they keep ending up in the same place. Not because your work isn’t good. Because without regulation, insight alone doesn’t hold.
Four ways to work together

Mediation Prep
1–3 sessions before the mediation date. Your client arrives regulated, focused, and ready to negotiate.

Parallel Support
Coaching runs alongside your series. I handle the nervous system. You handle the negotiation.

Case Consultation
Expert perspective on a high-conflict dynamic before your next session. The first 20 minutes are always complimentary.

Recovery & Re-engagement
A session breaks down. Most clients don’t come back. Three focused sessions to re-center the client and return them to you ready to resume — not just willing to.

How this works in practice

When your clients work with me, they show up differently.

When the cases that felt stuck start to move. The agreements you’ve built start to hold. Your work lands the way it was designed to.

  1. You reach out
When you’re ready to refer a client, reach out through the discovery call.
  2. We talk (20 minutes)
After our 20-minute call I’ll send you the referral intake
  3. I send the referral intake
Everything I need to prepare before your client and I connect. From there,
I handle intake to invoicing. Nothing lands on your plate.
  4. Your client returns ready
Regulated. Focused. Ready to do the work you’re there to do together.
How fees work

Coaching
Client pays directly

All coaching programs are paid directly by your client. You refer. I handle everything from intake to invoicing.

Your organization pays

I offer team training and workshops on high-conflict co-parenting dynamics for family law practices, mediation firms, and professional groups. Flat fee, confirmed before anything starts.

Consultation
First call is on me

Profile first
Who I am

20 years. The same commitment.

I’m Djenane, Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) with 20 years in mental health and family systems. I work with the parents who want to do better and can’t figure out why they keep ending up in the same place.

Because the patterns blocking your cases don’t live in the mind. They live in the body.

You build the agreement. I build the capacity to hold it.
